Merry Christmas everyone (if anybody is reading this).  Welcome to my first attempt at having my own blogsite.  Obviously, this is my first post, so bear with me, hopefully I will get better.

I went to see The Nativity Story last night.  I found it to be a wonderfully made film on the birth of the Lord.  I do not go to the theaters too often.  In fact, I think the last movie I saw in the theater was Mel Gibson's The Passion (which I loved).  I would encourage everybody to go see this movie, if you haven't already.  The movie incorporates all the relevant portions of Christ's birth from the Gospels, then adds storytelling to give us an idea of what The Blessed Virgin Mary and Saint Joseph may have gone through, during this period.  The movie puts in to focus, the true miracle and gift that we are celebrating at this time of year.  I can guarantee that this movie will be added to my DVD collection when it is released.
